HELLO FEBRUARY, NEW MONTH, NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Anyone else so happy we survived the year long January we just had? January is always a difficult month with pressure to thrive and have these extreme resolutions, so we can all give a sigh of relief that it’s finally over.

Today is the 1st of February and with a new month comes new opportunities and a clean slate.

It’s never too late to set new intentions and new goals and it’s never too late to choose you.

Here are some tips on how to set your intentions and goals for the coming month;

  1. Reflect on the Previous Month

If the previous month didn’t go to plan, figure out why that was. Of course life can sometimes get in the way but sometimes we set goals that are just not achievable in the way we thought. Make a list of what did and didn’t work and see how you can improve or modify so that you can get the most out of this month.

  1. Define your Priorities

         You may have lots of ideas/ goals for the coming month but prioritising what you definitely want to achieve is a good way to ensure your main goals don’t get forgotten about as other things arise.

  1. Make them Realistic and Achieveable

You will never be consistent with goals that are not realistic for you. If you have a hectic work/ life schedule maybe 6 workouts a week just isn't realistic for you. Whereas, if you commit to getting 3 really good sessions in which you push yourself hard, then that is a more achievable goal. You are less likely to give up and achieving these smaller goals will give you confidence and belief in yourself

  1. Stay Flexible

Life can happen so be prepared for the unexpected. Having a rigid routine can sometimes prevent progress and reaching your goals.

5.Create a vision board

Creating a vision board is not only a fun, relaxing activity but is also a powerful tool of manifestation. Make this vision board your lockscreen and you can then visualise this success everyday.
