  • Hey lovely queens!! 

    so the last few days I've been thinking to myself..."ohh check me out I can do some of the advanced moves" or "oh I did the intermediate Abs section for the first time"... 🙌 

    then realised it's probably due to the time of the month for me. But actually, I have this time of the month every month and although it will have an impact in making me a bit stronger it's defo not the only reason

    the other reasons are cause I'm here, showing up, each day, absolutely loving it and progressing little bit by bit!

    next week I might get a dip but knowing why is half the battle! 

    we got this queens, we show up, we don't quit and we keep smiling!!!

    let's smash it!!!!!!! ❤️🙌💥👑😘👸🌶🙏

     



  • Definitely having one of those weeks as well. I don't really track my period or when I think my period is because of the contreception I'm on but thinking I should probably start taking note. I do get weeks where I really lack energy and the workouts are a real struggle. This week I have so much energy out of nowhere and I feel really strong! Maybe we are all somehow syncing our periods from afar 😂


  • @Katie Rynne Defo get you Katie - i am always stronger and more energetic at my TOTM but defo getting stronger and more resilient as you say from showing up and being consistent and challenging ourselves - i never thought i could be this enthusiastic about any form of exercise but im actually a little bit in love with it all now :)

  • @Katie Rynne keep going! It's good when get to know your cycle and start to pinpoint when your energy peaks and flows. 

    I did a workout a few days ago and just couldn't get myself out of 1st gear and was cracking up at myself lol. But as you say the important thing is I done it. The next day I felt amazing again. 

    Don't let the mind trick you, show it who's boss and power on 💪😊


  • Thank you Queens!! You're all so right - it's so good to know and monitor your cycle...it can have such a big impact on how we feel and why and I find it removes pressure when you know why, like 'oh I'm having off day cause I'm hormonal but that's cool cause last month it only lasted a few days so it'll pass'.

    And yes, we defo all seem to be synced don't we hahah!!

    Ive loved week 3 - really enjoyed the diversity of classes - gonna finish with yoga this arvo!!

  • Love this Queen :) Proper motivation woop. I do feel the same though! Start of this week I was like jesus I feel stroonnnggg but then realised why! But each totm we prob feel even stronger yes, because we are showing up and smashing these workouts wooooo xx Enjoy your Sunday Queens! Fresh week incoming! New goals and a new week to enjoy! xx
