In January I decided to sign up for the spring challenge as this year I want to improve on myself by getting stronger and healthier, usually I am bad to keep up an exercise routine might do it for a week or two and then go cold turkey but this year I made a promise to myself not to let that happen. So this week has been my fourth week queening and I have fell in love with exercise the range of workouts available throughout the week is amazing, the workouts automatically make me feel better after completing them so thank you @Maeve Madden for setting up a wonderful online platform that is encouraging, motivating and that has a community feeling nice to see people supporting each other 👑 the biggest win for me tho was last night I have a treadmill at home but I haven't used it since the start of January as I rather doing the workouts but yesterday I decided to go on the treadmill as I was having a bit of a rest day I was shocked to discover the strength that has come into my legs from doing the workouts usually my legs would get tired very fast and if I increased the speed my legs would be burning but not last night I felt like superwoman on the treadmill and was going at a speed I never have before so thank you Maeve I am delighted to be getting stronger and part of this wonderful team 💖
@Louise Roche Hey Louise! Love this post! I am in the same boat as yourself and started this month too and am loving the workouts! I haven't had great routines with exercise this past year and have kind of dipped in and out of it but with this, I don't know what's changed but I am really committed to getting the workouts in and really enjoying it! So great to part of the team and have the support and its great craic too! Go us!!! 😀
@Jean O’Neill Hey Jean aww thank you, I have been the same the past year, ya I know what you mean I think once you get into the swing of it they become addictive because we start to feel better in ourselves and are motivated to keep going! You've nailed it! In another year of nasty news and crazy covid it's so hard to stay focused and motivated, but with Maeve, all the team behind QDQ, you queens and this forum we have got it! We have got the power and self worth to aim to be better, to feel healthier and fitter and stronger!!

@Louise Roche YES queen, that is amazing!!!!! Us queens are getting stronger by the day! So glad you tried the treadmill as it's so amazing to see you can do it and at a higher speed!!!!! I found that too when I went for a run with my friend, i dont really like running and I cud count on 1 hand how many times I've tried to run.... but this was so different, like you i cud feel the strength in my legs. I cudnt believe it. It's a huge win for u queen, so happy you joined and you're loving it!!!!!! Xx
