My Christmas challenge transformation

  • My Christmas Challenge journey

Wow queens what I can say. Here I am 5 months post-partum, 20 QDQ workouts down, doing advanced options and I can’t believe what I’ve achieved!

Maeve said in her last Merry Squatmas class, “show yourself you can do it" and that really sums up my journey this time. QDQ got me through lockdown, redundancy and a wedding!

I had a tough pregnancy where I developed SPD also known as pelvic girdle pain. It left me virtually unable to walk and I was in lot of pain. I had a great labour and myself and the midwives even chanted “queens don’t quit” as I had my baby queen💖

I was fortunate enough my symptoms left me once I had Kathleen however I need to rebuild my strength and body back and QDQ has enabled me to do that. The likes of squatmas, jingle dumbells and barre has helped me rebuild my core, glute and leg strength slowly and in the right way.

I can’t believe I’m on advanced options, thank you Maeve for giving my body back.

All the queens inspire me so much, so many smash out 5/7 workouts a week and I’m in awe - well done. I’ve managed 20 over the 5 weeks which is a huge feat for me.

p.s I lost 5 kilos - but it's not about the weight loss for me!

Well done everyone and I can’t wait until the Jan challenge.
