Diet and mood

  • Hello queens...

I wanna ask you how the diet effects your mood? I have experienced and seen that when someone is on diet starts to have issues with his/her mood.

I experienced this on myself and I reached the point that we shouldn't look for a diet but for a new life style that makes us comfortable, so we will not have that feeling that we are doing sacrifices and we will not Feel bad or have bad mood.

If we focus in changing our life style we will not need to look for crazy diet and we will reach our goals and maintain them in a easier way!

    What's your experience?
Do you also think that is all about life style?

  • @Valeria Lorgio Hi Valeria, yes I completely agree 😊 I always find if I'm too strict with my food I get tired of it and I constantly crave the 'bad' stuff. And I know its not realistic to stick to for life.

On the other side if I have a few bad days of eating it really affects my mood too, I feel sluggish, less motivated and it kind of gets me down because I feel like I'm ruining my progess.

I think its all about balance and making healthier choices where you can 😊 I dont have set treat days really, I don't tell myself I cant have certain stuff on certain days, if I want it I'll have it and if it happens to be bad I'll just make sure to work extra hard for it that day or the day after 😊

I'm all about the 80/20 and once you're burning off what you're putting in it should be ok 😊 xxx

  • @Valeria Lorgio i 100% agree! It is all about lifestyle. Before Team Queen I spent years in gyms, tracking macros, counting calories and it wasn’t good for me! Whereas with Team Queen I love how it’s about working out being fun, pushing yourself and developing a positive relationship with your body rather than punishing it. I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in and I think it’s because I enjoy working out and I want to fuel myself with good nutrition. Excellent topic for discussion!x
