Dry socket hell! | MaeveMadden

Dry socket hell!

  • Hi queeens
I had a tooth out almost two weeks ago now and developed dry socket 😢 The thing is, I can not exercise since ... everytime I do anything that even slightly increases my heart I get the most insane pulsing pain where the tooth was pulled. Not being able to exercise is driving me nuts!! Even walking hurts 😫Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how long was it before you could get back to normal activities?

    Thanks

  • Oh Caroline Im so sorry Im only seeing this now, I am prone to getting them, Ive had a few done as have loads of implants and crowns.

You're well past that stage now Im sure, its really is awful at the time, I had one just after christmas and it turned into a really bad dry socket that just wouldnt go away, I had to get it dressed twice with a painkiller in the hole and a very strong antibiotic, it was awful and the infection in the tooth before it was removed was horrific too! Getting an implant placed there on wednesday though! Hopefully there wont be complications as that can happen if the canals are prone to infection. Hope youre feeling better now!
