I won't lie ladies, alot more than once in the last two weeks iv put myself down massively . Now iv showed up for all the work outs but beating myself up big time about getting things wrong and all that crap..
So I thought this morning take a day off, and himself says ah u like that class chance it and I had seen afew posts about the perky peach so gave it half an hour and said ya I'll do it! Oh my God I'm so happy I can see such a big improvement today with all the moves 🙌🙌🙌 may have stepped on the scales this week too and been pissed off, wasn't seeing too much movement on that or pics or measuring but I am buzzing for Saturday now. Came downstairs he gives me more compliments sure I'm flying it now!!
So just a little appreciation post for QDQ, trusting the process and getting stronger and fitter! ❤️ Happy Saturday 👑's!!
@Leonie Mcnulty I think I've been in the same boat Leonie, I feel like I've just been a bit stuck like I feel I'm looking in the mirror and that nothing has really changed since two or three weeks ago even though I feel I'm getting so much stronger! Was chatting to my boyfriend on the phone last night and he assured me that if I keep going consistently I will see the results I'm looking for. I know I'm getting stronger but I just feel the past two weeks I haven't looked like I'm getting stronger if that makes sense?
I'm so glad you did the workout queen! You honestly never regret a workout and I think we're all so grateful for all Maeve has created to keep us motivated ❤️ I know it's hard but make sure to try and be kind to yourself queen, your body does so much for you and you're doing such an amazing job! (Lol really think I should start taking my own advice at times haha). It's so great that your partner is so supportive, make sure to give yourself compliments too though queen, you're doing a great job ❤️❤️👑👑
@Leonie Mcnulty It can be so difficult at times, and sometimes when we are celebrating other queens' progresses we have the little niggling voice in the back of our head going oh look at that, why aren't you achieveing xyz already! And that's part of being human but it's when we try to work hard and to have a quick quiet word with the voice, we adjust our crown and we smash the next workout!!!
There is no better feeling really than when you show up for a workout and you just KNOW you are feeling so much stronger and just know you are nailing the moves better than previously! It is really the best measure of progress, and I'm so thrilled you are absolutely feeling it today!!!!!! You might have seen me say previously about it being about the journey and not the end destination- it is so much more beneficial to be showing up for the workouts for yourself, to be putting the effort in and be loving the workouts, rather than some faddy diet with some extreme workouts that may get you to an end result quicker (in terms of scales etc) but might have you miserable. We have seen the light and it is QDQ and Maeve!!!!!!

@Niamh Byrne aw yeah feeling the same! So glad we stuck with it and showed up though! Haha yeah he's good as gold to be fair I think I've shocked him at how I'm progressing with QDQ (he's a PT and at most I've shown up ever maybe once a week to train with him and then taken 6months off🤣🤣) oh my gooood I'm the same I can give the loveliest advice and then do I take it, nah just so mean to myself, well no more 🤣🙌 hope your feeling brighter too, we got this 👑
@Sharon Scully soooo on the money with that niggling voice! Your so right sharon I think today it clicked, it's totally a journey! I'm sorry I didn't start this sooner but am here for the long haul now! I am for sure done with joining gyms and not going, I actually was gym shamed by my last PT, imagine!! He said Christ you get very red and sweaty for not doing much, the cheek and I never went back that was just this time last year!! 🤣 My sitting room doesn't give a shit what I look like and as long as I'm getting stronger and fitter neither do I!! 👑 Thank you for the encouragement 🙌
@Leonie Mcnulty The neeecccckkkk of it, omg what a prick!!!! I wear my red face and my sweat like a badge of honour, no matter the perceived or lack there of of effort hahah! Glad to hear it clicked a bit. You are absolutely smashing it girl- be so so proud every single day that you are showing up for yourself, and it will definitely all come together!
@Leonie Mcnulty awh I love this leonie!!!! You are not alone in these feelings and thoughts! We have all been there at some stage!!!! You are so right though, trust the process and stick.with it.
Eventually you will feel great more days then you feel bad and you will see and feel the changes to ur body and mind!!!!!

@Leonie Mcnulty that's just what your partner should be doing is showing you all the support that you need and deserve. It's not always easy turning up for the classes. It's not always easy getting through them either. You are turning up and you are working out. You are getting stronger and healthier. Keep the head up. You could be sitting on the couch but your not. You are choosing to do the classes. Give yourself the praise that you have earned.

Been there done that & kicked myself after. Right next thing now is dust urself off & get urself ready for week 6. Tell urself it's going to be a better week. Tell urself uve got this.
