After slicing into my thumb at the end of week 8 I thought I'd be out for the count and I was gutted.
Thumb is feeling better (hopefully stitches out this week) and I was going stare crazy with missing out on my workouts (never had that feeling before).
I've just completed a beginners class and I'll be carrying on with low impact for the rest of the week.
So glad I decided to become a queen, it has really kept me going the last few months. I work from home and my partner is in work a lot so it can get quite lonely and boring. I've no idea how I ever managed the lockdowns last year without any kind of outlet, this week has been so boring!
Thank you to all the queens who have been so supportive and lovely, I'm so proud to be part of this lovely community! 👸. 👑 💕
@Megan Hunter awwww Megan its great to have you back with us!!!! I missed seeing ur name!!!! Its it wonderful how it spurred you on to get better quickly and get back to exercising with us.. like you, I've never felt this b4!!! Its so brilliant!!! Once a queen, always a queen xxx
@Megan Hunter great to hear you're getting better Megan! Becoming a queen was definitely one of the best decisions I've made, mind yourself queen xx
@Megan Hunter Woohoo welcome back!!! Glad to hear you are able, I won't mention not over-doing it at the start 😝 I did a beginners class yesterday just for a bif of movement and actually it was so good to do it more gentle and I noticed I was really focusing on my core and the like! So there is definitely lots to be taken from the lower impact classes, and you'll be back flying it again soon as!
@Sharon Scully thank you! Feel like I've been on holiday. What's the goss, what did I miss 🤣 I felt exactly the same about the class. Was really good to get back on where I started. Remember the first class I was dead now I'm using it to have a low impact workout. Too many good things have come out of this challenge to be annoyed about one silly thumb 👍😝
