Spring Queen Challenge | MaeveMadden

Spring Queen Challenge

  • With the Spring Queen Challenge coming to an end (cry cry cry), I just wanted to share my testimony. I shared my before and after picture around week six and was overwhelmed with how incredible and supportive the Queens are. This really is a community like no other, and I am so proud to be a part of it.

I started doing QDQ last Autumn, after emigrating to a new country. In the middle of a pandemic and away from all of my friends and family.... not my finest idea! But being able to have a focus like QDQ and the support from the forums and all you absolute wonder women on here made it so much more bearable. I started taking it a little more seriously in Jan (4-5 classes a week rather than 3) and joined in with the Spring Queen Challenge.

I have seriously suffered with PCOS for the past few years, and throughout have really struggled with my weight and really irregular menstrual cycles. It was my New Years Resolution to try and finally get control over this, in the hopes that my partner and I could start trying for a baby. I cannot believe it, but I have actually lost weight (only a bit, but my body has changed completely, people keep mentioning how good I look) after years of trying anf failing, and I have JUST had my THIRD regular period in a row, meaning our dream of becoming parents might just become a reality.

Maeve and Team Queen - I cannot thank you enough. Queens for life!

If I get pregnant, I might make the baby's middle name Queen... LOL!
