Ok so really struggling to get past 40/45 seconds with the cold shower haha! Im going to try and stay in for longer tomorrow by having the was more tepid and hopefully build from there! I just love boiling hot showers too much 😅

@Ashley Jordan I follow Trua too and its so interesting to hear the info about washing more regularly because so many hairdressers promote leaving hair as long as possible before washing! But it definetly makes sense to be washing it more frequently with all the workouts, since Ive heard her say its just an extension of the skin on our face it makes me feel sick if I was leaving my face without a wash for 4/5 days 😭 so now thats all I think of haha! x
@Rachel Vickers YES!! Totally agree with ya,ever since I heard her say that too its all I can think about and it makes sense. No skin expert would recommend only washing your face 1/2 a week especially if you sweat the way we do 😂 I understand that the water has so many chemicals and I do believe its bad for the hair but Claire from Trua says heat is the worst thing out of them all for hair and scalp. So thats another reason I conciously turn the temp down in the shower especially when washing my hair, try to keep it cooler and not use the hair dryer/ghd as much as possible.
I suppose everyone is different and how often you want to wash, or not wash your hair is up to you. I just know for me that I feel better in myself when I do wash it frequently and I actually notice less shedding also, as opposed to washing it every 3rd day.
Im still trying to use cold water at the end of the shower too, hasnt been as bad the last few days because its been warmer out but if it gets colder again it might be difficult ❄️😬
