I've been very quiet on here because college is so busy at the minute but I can't wait to come back on and have the chats with everyone ❤️❤️
I absolutely loved this mornings sexy shoulders workout and looked in the mirror to see how strong I looked after and I was only delighted with myself! As someone who had little to no upper body strength I feel like I've come such a long way, even since January! My goal for the spring challenge was to work on my upper body more and now for the summer challenge I'm really focusing on those push ups and upping my weights (if I can find heavier ones than 5kg 🤞🏻😅)
I love seeing changes in my strength, and absolutely loved the style of this mornings sexy shoulders class! Definitely felt stronger and felt like I was able to put more into each set! 👑
@Niamh Byrne Omg Niamh I see such a huge change in you.. You are looking so fit and so strong wow . I really love love love Sexy shoulders class and spicy circuits they are my fav ... I love that feeling of getting more reps in each week or trying a heavier weight so good
@Maeve Madden Thank you so much! The spaghetti arms are no more 😂 Working on my push ups and we're slowly getting there but I'm loving it and feeling so strong! The weight classes are definitely some of my favourites now which is mad because I used to HATE weights 😅🤣 The strongest and fittest I've ever been and loving every second! x
Well done Niamh super work! I've just come straight in from work and caught up on this morning's class, what a burn!! I agree with Maeve that the super sets make the class feel so different and I certainly feel like I worked harder. Sweaty sevens, spicy circuits and combat queens are my favourite and I quite like a bit of booty burn too now that I have my new bands which I absolutley love.xx

This mornings sexy shoulders class was absolute FIRE 🔥 I was so proud I managed to used my 5kg for the majority and I was feeling strong and fabulous however by the end my arms were shaking that's for sure 😂😂 I do love our strength sessions and watching us all get stronger by the week it is amazing! 👑

Fair play to you girls for using the 5kg weights the whole way through. Im still using my 3kgs for the rainbow press (or what ever that is called cant remember) I use 4kgs for everything else and the odd 6kg kettlebell if I can make it work. Would love to get a 5/6kg set of dumbells next.
Love sexy shoulders too and the super reps, really enjoyed that workout this morning.

@Tina Devin Yes the super sets were fantastic and I felt that I was able to do more reps with them. Definitely loved the new style and can't wait for next week's class already lol! x
@Georgie Dillon Yeah I struggle with the push ups, at the minute I'm using my resistance bands on my arms just to try get my form right but it's still so hard. I feel like I tend to struggle on push ups because you have to engage everything all at once 😂 We'll get there queen, I'm so excited to see where we'll be at with them by the end of the challenge!! 5kg's thats fantastic queen! You're smashing it x
@Ashley Jordan Thanks so much Ashley! Aw the struggle of trying to find weights is real, I really want to get 6kg/7.5kg and 10kg for lower body work but either they're out of stock or wayyy overpriced it's crazy! I just remember when I got my 3 and 5 kg first I could hardly lift either of them and now I'm looking for heavier lol.
I'm not sure about other queens but I find I still have to drop quite light (2kg) for some of the upper body moves like front raises and the bent over flys because I have super delicate shoulders, but other than those I'm just sying to get heavier weights!!!
@Carmel Mulvany Aw I love the upper body classes and they used to be my least favourite! Definitely feeling so strong and loved the new layout. Missed spicy circuits this week because of study but just can't wait to be able to fit in whatever classes I want whenever I want after my exams.

@Sharon Scully Thank you so much Sharon! My spaghetti arms are no more thankfully, I just love the upper body classes now because I just feel so strong. I think I used to hate them because I literal couldn't even lift the weight and couldn't finish the sets which I always find really frustrating. But we're all beginners in the beginning and my upper body was a bit behind the rest of my body with it's advancement but we're definitely seeing results now! x
@Niamh Byrne You're not alone there Niamh, I bought 3kg weights for the same exercises you mentioned, just wasnt able with the 4kgs, although in saying that, the 4kgs felt so heavy when I first bought them and now for a lot of the exercises I feel like they are so light 😅 I am like you, want heavier weights for lower body and deadlifts etc..cant afford to pay crazy money either. Maybe the cost of them will come down in a few months when "normal" life resumes again 🤞
@Ashley Jordan Yes I'm hoping the cost will come down, they're absolutely crazy expensive! Like golddust these days lol 🤣 My dad found an old set of weight plates and bars he had so I used them this morning as two 10kg dumbells, just great for the deadlifts! Then used his 8kg kettlebell for most of the other exercises. I'll be trying to sneak them all out of the house with me when I move out lol
@Niamh Byrne Oooo that's a good idea actually, I may try using my resistance band on my arms to help with my form until I'm confident too! Thanks Queen! Oh I know right trying to engage everything at the same time is a struggle, I have to keep remembering my breath so I can power through 😂
Yasss we will 100% get there Niamh! I can't wait to see us at the end of the challenege either, we'll be overhead pressing 7.5kgs before we know it 😂 Aww thank you so much, I'm feeling so great lately and really seeing a difference with my upper body x
