12 Wk Christmas Challenge Diary


  • Hello Queens 👑 hope u r all keeping well. I hope that ur Week 6 has bn a success. Once again it was another week of fantastic workouts, laughs & support.

    So here we go with my highs & lows of my week . My starting goals were to increase water intake, improve & be better organised with my meal planning, cut out sugar, increase my steps & a better sleep pattern. While also getting in my daily workouts - 8 classes this wk. I am very pleased with how it all went for me this week even my step count. I pushed myself to do more walking so after queensdontquit I quickly showered & got out for my walk most days. Food & Water were great. Sugar intake was at its lowest. 

    My low was my sleep pattern but in fairness it really cldnt b helped as it was due to my back problem. But I will add I finally got to do Sineads Pilates class after this mornings Saturday Burn, I got a bit of relief from that so every bit helps. 

    So Queens the Venga Bus will be pulling up for - destination - WEEK 7, I hope to see u all on it with me. Remember u r my inspiration & motivation. #queensdontquit #queenssupportingqueens #queenteamalltheway.  👑 👑 👑 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 

     

     


  • @Audrey Browne hi queens and my darling audrey!!!! So my highs of d wk was I had loads of energy after my TOTM and I put 150% into all classes this wk!!!!! 

    My lows are not drinking enough water and not loving myself enough!!!!! 

    Us queens have so much going on in our lives and I find myself going through a separation with 2 kids ..... but only 4 this site I wud be lost!!!! 

    You have helped me focus on myself and I'm so grateful for that!!!!! 

    Love to all my queens! Love yourselves!!!! Xxxx

    @Audrey Browne sounds like you totally smashed it! Amazing on all fronts, I truly believe small consistent habits lead to big changes!

    @Carmel Mulvany sorry to hear all you are going through but you are so lovely and motivating to us all! Always leaving encouraging messages etc so I’m sure your positive attitude will see you through!

    im so happy with my week! I agree with Maeve on seeing leaner legs and a perkier peach - the Queen method WORKS! I got my three workouts in, walks every day, no chocolate or treats this week just haven’t fancied it! Good nutrition and hydration! Once the Christmas challenge is complete I’m going to treat myself to some new Team Queen runners!! I def think you ladies should also have a treat plan for when we’ve finished it!

  • @Suzie McDonald awh suzie, thank you so much,  ur so kind!!!!! I find this is really helping me focus on me and I love chatting to all you fab queens!!! It really cheers me up! 

    You are smashing it hun, you have had a fabulous wk. How do you avoid treats, I'm still trying to master that...😂😂😂.  I found yesterdays workout unreal, so spicy on legs and glutes!!! I've walked alot this wk and really like getting out in the fresh air. It's so great for the mind!

  • Well Queens another week down. We r getting closer & closer to the end of our 12 week Christmas Challenge whopwhop 🙌🙌🙌. I hope this last wk was a gd one for u all.

    Week 7 for me was absolutely amazing. After having a very weird, a very low week 6 for reasons I do not know, even though I hit most of my goals, I just cldnt pick myself up. So I decided to turn things around for week 7. It was fantastic. I hit -

    9workouts this wk hoping for 10 with yoga 2moro. ✅

    My meals were all on plan. ✅ 

    Sleep - 8 hrs every night. ✅

    Hydration - 2.5 ltr - 3 ltrs ✅

    Steps -  7.5k everyday - total steps at the end of each day was.......... 15,000 yes I finally reached my daily 15,000 goal. Absolutely over the moon about that 🙌🙌🙌🙌✅

    So week 8 for me will b busy while I plan on getting my Workouts in, sticking to meal plan, Hydration & sleep I'm doubtful about my steps as I'll b painting my house all week but I'm hoping that I might get a few k's in just to get away from the paintbrush. 

    So Queens here's wishing u all a very happy healthy & successful Week 8. Let's knock it out of the park. 🙌🙌🙌👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

     


  • @Audrey Browne OH MY GOSH QUEEN....you were on fire this wk!!!! Huge congrats hun,you should be so proud!!!! I'm so so happy for you hitting all ur goals! Ur an amazing queen!!!! 

    My wk went good to start with and hit a wall on Friday,  had few glasses of wine and yesterday became my rest day!! I'm gonna take it on d chin and aim for better this wk and today I'm gonna do yesterdays class and yoga and I know I'll be feeling a million times better!!!!! 

    Continuing smashing ur goals hun and to all you wonderful queens!!!!! We can do this!!!!! Love to you all 😘😘😘😘


  • @Carmel Mulvany hey doll how r u doing! Yep take it on the chin Carmel because we have to allow ourselves to live also. U work hard all week, u're raising young kids, running a house & u possibly put urself at the end of all that list , so yes u r entitled to relax & enjoy urself.

  • Hey Queens how r we all doing.!! I hope ur Week 8 was a good one.

    My highs for week 8 are gd. My Workouts, Meal plans & Hydration were on point.

    My lows really are my Sleep I didnt get my planned 8 hrs and my steps I got no walks in this week but I knew that wld happen as I've been painting all week long. So I'm OK with it. However I did do a lot climbing though. Up & down the ladder 😂😂😂😂

    This week is going to be much of the same just finishing up the last room for painting (🙄thank god). I'm just planning on maintaining my goals & workouts. 

    I hope u all have a fantastic Week 9 Queens. No long more to go 😲😲😲. 👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

     


  • Hey queens! 

    Well this wk went well, got all workouts completed and got alot if walking in. I also started running again and surprised myself with what I could do.  These classes are building strength all over my body and I'm so happy. I ended today with yoga, which I loved.  I got very emotional at the end which shocked me but I'm guessing I needed to let it all out.

    Like you @Audrey Browne sleep wasnt really great this wk, so its something to try and improve this wk.

  • @Carmel Mulvany Heya Queen congrats on a great week well done u. And back running oh wow Carmel delighted for u. So jealous, I used to run up to 2 yrs ago & had to stop bcos of impact on my lower back 🙄🙄.  U r not on ur own about yoga & getting emotional I had same reaction last wk. I think we carry a lot of stress that we don't acknowledge or want to, to be more precise & when we do de-stress that's when it actually hits us. It makes us question why we've bn tense, restless, sleepless etc & so then we finally have to face up to it hence the waterworks. But I always feel that a good cry is the healthiest we can do. I found myself crying unexpectantly twice 2 nights this week but I truly truly felt like a weight had bn lifted. Stay strong Carmel we're all here for u.🥰

    Have a fantastic Week 9 doll, I know u're gonna kick ass. Luvs u lots jelly tots 🥰 👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️


  • @Audrey Browne I had a good week, 3rd week in a row consistently completing all team queen workouts as well as hitting my steps, so i am delighted! Hoping to continue this till the end of the challenge so let's see!!

    Things to improve on this week is sleep, as i am on the early shift at work my sleep always suffers these weeks! And cut out those pre bed time snacks during the week!! 

    Good luck and well done to everyone for getting through another week of the challenge!!

  • Hello Queens! Sorry late to the party I did complete Week 8!  Was really good, x3 workouts (no ballet barre just Maeve!) getting stronger every week, and pushing through routines really well!  Lots of big walks too and good nutrition!

    This is my wedding week so things are MENTAL, so I'm really concerned how I'll get my workouts in but I know I need to prioritise me!  Have so many appointments and stuff and trying to get work tied up.  But I've come so far on this challenge I don't want to drop off now!  Am thinking I might do some yoga to try and help calm me down so its a win / win.

    Big day is on Sat ladies, can't believe it is here.

    Well done to you all smashing it!!xx
