Heya queens!!!!@Maeve Madden I knoooowww this should not be a political community, but seriously every time I hear the YMCA I think about a certain "political" figure🤬since he uses it in EVERY rally, and it reallyyyy takes away the positive vibes of ALL your workouts! And I honestly just need to try and put him behind and forget that he even existed, just think of it as the worst nightmare for humanity. If it is possible we could change it it will mean sooooo much!!!

I love it too - it reminds me late nights out and irish weddings too, so much fun!!! I wasn’t aware of the link either but I associate it with feeling delighted that I’ve made it through the workout 💪😀
@Brenda Miceli hey Brenda I can only imagine your anger and disgust with him. He was the absolute pits and has done so much damage. What an absolute sh1t show it's been at times.
For me, I associate the song with a job well done, workout complete and time for a laugh and chats with the queens.
He is not my association with the song but I can see why it might grate on you.

Are you USA based, I dont feel its so much in the media here or maybe Im just not a big news watcher more reader and that is why I never made the connection... We also do the Happy song. @Maeve Madden yes, that is the exactly what it is, I live in Florida, and I'm all the contrary of what that "thing" is for, I don't dare call him human. It has been a heck of an experience these 4 years, it's just gonna take time to detrumpyfy our lives. But this change will do the trick, back to humane, to dignity, to truth, to humbleness, to poise, to have a REAL FAMILY in the White House, to moral values, Oh my Gosh I could go on and on...
But you know what, this community and you are sooo awesome and supportive that from now on what I will picture every time I hear it, will be an Irish weddin hahaha which I have NEVER EVER BEEN TO LOL!!! And I will detrumpify my heart💜
