Hi there,
After a year of QDQ my mat is very sad and baldy lol
Have been waitinfg for shops to open to be able to see/feel thickness etc
Has anyone bought mat online that you would recommend - Irish company prefarably to avoid brexit fees etc?
TIA
Pamela
@Pamela King Hi Pamela Karl Henry is always recommending Helen Steeles mat it's on the Dunnes store website think it's around €20 . Think I'll invest in as my own mat is in bad shape too .
Thank you @Sharon Murphy had no idea Dunnes sold mats!
She's an Irish designer she does a fitness clothes range with dunnes ,it's fab
@Pamela King Hey Pamela, I lovee my FIIT mat, I've had it for almost a year now and it resides on the living room floor permanently and it's in perfet condition, it's a bit pricey but honestly at this stage it doesn't owe me anything. Not sure if it would be affected by customs now though but might be worth a look. Decathalon I think also have ones that are quite good if you're looking for something cheaper! x
Thanks @Niamh Byrne will check them out - where did you buy FIIT mat from?
I did get one from Decathalon but it was shockingly bad quality - slippy and shiny. My husband picked it up when shops opened up before Christmas but selection was limited so maybe better ones available.
@Pamela King I just got it from the FIIT website, I think its about €50 but mine doesn't owe me a penny at this stage and considering I'd been through 3 mats before this one I was amazed by the quality. Still finding bits of purple foam around the house from one of my old mats!
Fabulous thank you will look it up - don't mind spending if it's good quality :)
@Pamela King the flow state ones seem to come highly recommended also but they are defo pricey but I think if you use it a lot and get the time out of it then can be worth investing
Thank you @Carol Tansley just purchased FIIT mat - was looking for good quality that was hot pink and found it! xx
@Pamela King oh great!!! Must check them out! I got one last year when I started these workouts but must get a new one!
@pamelaking I have a snakuga yoga mat I got it off amazon and its brilliant its really good quality and it doesn't budge on wooden floor
It worked out about 38euro with import tax and delivery
I've been eyeing up those Fiit mats for a while but also wanting to hold out for when Maeve releases hers!
@Pamela King the Fiit mat is brilliant. I bought mine in Jan and it was shipped with dpd. I only had to pay €9 customs charges but it's defo worth it. I went through so many mats and I have this one now since I'd Jan and it's still perfect. And it's super squishy and does not budge on the floor so great for all the high intensity workouts.
Hey Pamela,
I have a FIIT mat and absolutely love it!!! Nice big size and so easy to roll up and put away. Grip on the floor is so so good too 😊
