Good afternoon Queens! 👑
I wonder if anyone can help me to find my MOJO please?! I had to take a week off for half term (a couple of weeks ago) and since then I just can't seem to get into my workouts in the same away 😢 I have lost my energy levels and I feel like I've lost some shape and feel heavier. I need to get out of this downward spiral, I love working out and being a queen and hopefully this is just a blip. Its very frustrating because i smashed the first 10 weeks of the challenge but didn't finish as strong as I'd hoped. This isn't a moan just an air of frustation!!
Love you all to bits and thank you for letting me vent 😘💗👑
@Jo Bird I know how you feel, was very tired and unwell after my covid vacation and had a week's down time. First day back. All I can tell you is don't be hard on yourself, set the time to do your workout even if you don't feel like you are giving 100% any % is better than no %. Perservereance is the only way. 💪
@Jo Bird ah sorry to hear that Jo but like Geraldine said try not to be hard on yourself. Getting to 10 weeks is a massive achievement and you probably finished a lot stronger than you realise. A few weeks back at it and it wont be long till you get your energy back. As Maeve always says, pick the workouts that you enjoy the most, maybe just try 2/3 a week short 30 min classes and go from there. If you are doing the ones you prefer then it will be easier to motivate yourself. Try set it out on a Sunday evening and plan the ones you want to do, literally schedule them into your diary/phone and dont deter from it if you can. Try stick to the schedule and I promise you wont regret it once its done. Even if you feel you dont want to do it,just say to yourself, I'll do 10 mins and see how I feel. You will more than likely finish the whole workout but your mind will believe it will be shorter than you think 😂
@Geraldine Morrissey Thank you :-) I hope you're feeling better too x
@Ashley Jordan Thank you :-) You're so right and everything you've said is exactly as I would say to someone! Its funny isn't it how we struggle to apply these theories to ourselves sometimes! x
@Jo Bird I know, im great at giving the advice but not so good at heeding it myself haha
