I'm new to these workouts but love them so much I want to be able to do them all! I've seen some require a resistance band and weights. What would people recommend weight wise for the little dumb bells? A kettle bell? And resistor belt?
TIA queens ❤️❤️❤️
@Jolene Richards Hi Jolene! Welcome to QDQ! You're going to have the best fun trust me 😊 I had no weights at the start either but gradually introduced a few over the last year. It was actually really difficult to find any during lockdown as stock was low but now that gyms are opening back up there seems to be a lot more to be found. The dumbells I use range between 3 and 7.5kg. I have two 6kg kettlebells but dont use them as much. I also have 3 of the resistance bands that Maeve brought out ranging from light to heavy. It depends on yourself really and what you think you would be able for but I would recommened starting with 3kgs and see how you get on with them, then slowly introduce heavier weights as you get stronger. For shoulders Maeve tends to stick with her 3kgs and 5kgs but if doing legs and weighted squats for example she would increase the weights to 7-10kgs. You may even find some sets with 3,4 & 5kgs so that would be a great start.

@Ashley Jordan thanks so much xx
@Jolene Richards hi Jolene I only joined QDQ 4 weeks ago & im sure u'll love it as much as I am. 👍🏼 I started with 1.5kg weights because that's all I had & I certainly noticed I had them initially. I've just ordered a pair of 3kg ones because I defo felt after the 4 week challenge I could up them safely. I was weary of starting too heavy & pulling something. I purchased a pack of 3 bands from Amazon, light, medium & heavy for a reasonable price & they're great. Maeve does her own but they only had heavy wen I looked last. I am waiting for a QDQ Mat because mine slips & Maeves are great. A friend of mine has one.
Good luck & I hope u continue to enjoy 😉❤️👑 xx
