Stronger than I thought! | MaeveMadden

Stronger than I thought!

  • Week 1 of the challenge is complete with 4 workouts done in 5 days! I think I'll reserve the weekend for an extra long dog walk with the hubby, don't want to overdo it in the first week as my calf is playing up (although today it felt okay during Pumpin' Spice, which was surprising!).

Had a lovely moment during today's workout where I realised I could do the more advanced moves and complete the rounds with weights! I've realised that when I use to just work out on my own, by creating my own routines, I wasn't really pushing myself to progress. I would complete the workout and yes I would sweat but I never thought to do heavier weights or more reps, I'd just complete the same thing over and over again.

I love that QDQ makes me progress, it keeps me interested and I'm hoping I'll see a physical difference in 5 weeks time! Just got to get diet on track as well but I thought I'd start week 1 by focussing on workouts first. Diet improvements start next week!

  • @Chloe Smith hi Chloe it's fab wen u realise u are stronger than u think! I joined QDQ for the last challenge almost 3 months ago & like u, this week I've noticed I can do most of the advanced moves 👍🏼 Made me feel that yes this is working for me....can't do a proper burpee yet but I'll get there lol 😂 I can do the walking ones now where as I wasn't even able to do that at the beginning!
good luck with the challenge queen 👑❤️
